Pete Lugo has been designing since the early nineties. While his work continues to evolve, he is always directed by an effort to design homes that are site responsive, contextually appropriate, energy efficient, and sustainable. After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from the Woodbury University School of Architecture in 1991, Pete worked in the offices of both Butler+Forbes+Jubany and the notable office of Angilil + Graham Architects in Los Angeles where he gained experience in residential and commercial design. In 1998 Pete opened his own practice and has since focused on modern residential design.
In 2011 Pete partnered with Kinetic Homes Design + Build. Pete's work with Kinetic included overseeing the design and review process as well as managing the overall aesthetic of Kinetic Communities. This partnership lead to the emergence of a new design vocabulary to the Placer County area. Pete then took that momentum to re-launch his design office.
In 2017 Pete and Lynn expanded to Interior Design with Lynn taking up the lead role in that department. They have since added Landscape Design as well as Furniture Purchasing and Design Management to their service menu.
Pete + Lynn are residents of the Sacramento Region. They are very involved in the local community. Pete has coached soccer and mountain biking and Lynn is currently involved in the Loomis Soccer program. Pete + Lynn have three children and they spend a great deal of time actively engaged in their lives. The family enjoys playing soccer, camping, snow boarding, cycling, and traveling together.
